Abul Nurujjaman gets Cloud Accountants and Trainer Award

In a spectacular celebration of excellence and innovation, Mr. Abul Nurujjaman was honored with the prestigious Cloud Accountants and Trainer Award at Sunrise – Spectrum Bangla Radio London’s 30th Anniversary & Award Ceremony on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

The event, graced by distinguished guests including Barrister Cllr Saif Uddin Khaled, Speaker of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Cllr Samata Khatoon, Mayor of London Borough of Camden, Cllr Rahima Rahman, Chair of London Borough of Newham, former Cllr Shamsul Islam Shelim, Former President of British Bangladeshi Caterers Association (BBCA), Mr. Misbah Jamal, Founder of Spectrum Bangla Radio, and co-host Ms. Meghna Uddin, was a fitting tribute to Mr. Nurujjaman’s outstanding contributions to the field of cloud accounting and training.

As an esteemed leader in the accounting practice sector, Mr. Abul Nurujjaman has been instrumental in implementing cloud bookkeeping and accounting in the UK, promoting and adopting cloud solutions long before the global shift to remote working brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. His foresight and dedication ensured seamless transitions and continuity in accounting practices during challenging times.

In 2023, Mr. Nurujjaman’s contributions were recognized internationally when he received an award in Dubai for his impact on the industry. His dedication extends beyond borders as he trains graduates in Bangladesh through his CloudBPO project, empowering them with skills to learn and earn in the cloud. In a country with a high population and rising unemployment, his vision is to train hundreds of thousands in BPO skills focused on accounting and finance, enabling them to work in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and beyond.

This honor was bestowed upon him by the Mayor of Brent Council, Cllr Mr. Parvez Ahmed, during a formal ceremony in the Mayor’s parlour on Wednesday, 22nd March 2017.

On 8th June, the team at Taj Accountants eagerly anticipated the results of the 2017 Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Professional Member Awards. Their anticipation turned into jubilation as celebrations broke out in the Whitechapel office when Managing Director Abul Nurujjaman was honored with the Licensed Member of the Year award.
