US AL’s memo US State Department, protest rally in front of White House

The United States Awami League submitted a memorandum to the Foreign Office last Monday calling for US intervention in the security of party leaders and helpless citizens in Bangladesh.
A protest rally was held before that. The rally was held in front of the White House and the State Department in Washington DC, accusing the unconstitutional unelected interim government of not taking effective measures to curb violence across the country since August 5.
In the memorandum that was given later, the issue of ‘forcing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to leave the country’ was also mentioned. Sierra Dehmond, the official of the Bangladesh Desk in the Ministry, is the president of the United States Awami League. Siddiqur accepted the memorandum from Rahman. At that time, other leaders and workers were also there. The slogans of the rally were ‘Stand with Hasina’, ‘Long Live Hasina’, ‘We are for Hasina’, ‘Stop Killing in Bangladesh’, Joy Bangla-Joy Bangabandhu etc.
