DU VC starts discussion with students to launch educational programme

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan has started meeting with the students of different halls with the aim of starting the educational program of the university quickly.

As part of this, he visited Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall, Freedom Fighter Ziaur Rahman Hall and Vijay Ekatar Hall on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor exchanged views with the student representatives of the respective halls.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan seeks the suggestions and opinions of the students regarding creating a cordial and trusting relationship between the teachers and the students and starting the educational programme at the earliest.

The students presented their suggestions and opinions to the Vice-Chancellor on the overall issues of the hall including distribution of seats on the basis of merit, ensuring conducive environment for studies, improving the quality of food.

The Vice-Chancellor listens to the students with deep sincerity and attention and is always committed to working for the welfare of the students. He said that the students are in a kind of emotional trauma due to the situation arising out of the anti-discrimination student movement. Counseling measures will be taken if necessary to overcome this trauma of the students.
