7-member committee formed to investigate violence in Khagrachari-Rangamati

Chittagong Divisional Commissioner has formed a seven-member investigation committee to find out the cause of communal violence and clashes in Rangamati and Khagrachari districts.

The investigation committee formed last Thursday (September 26) has been asked to submit a report to the Chittagong divisional commissioner within the next two weeks after conducting an on-site inspection and investigation.

Chittagong Additional Divisional Commissioner (Development) Mohammad Nurullah Noori has been convened in the investigation committee. The remaining members of the committee are Additional District Magistrates and Additional Superintendents of Police of Rangamati, Khagrachari and Bandarban.
