National Life Insurance wins SAFA Gold Award for second time

National Life Insurance, the country’s leading life insurance company, has won the most prestigious professional award in South Asia, the ‘South Asian Federation of Accountants-SAFA Gold Award’ for the second time.
National Life Insurance is the only life insurance company in Bangladesh to win this Gold Award in the life insurance category.
At the award distribution ceremony held at Hotel Cinnamon Lakeside in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, on November 11, 2024, the South Asian Federation of Accountants-SAFA authorities presented this award to National Life Insurance for achieving the highest standards in all categories in the review and evaluation of the annual report published in 2023.
National Life’s Chief Executive Officer Md. Kazim Uddin and Chief Financial Officer Prabir Chandra Das FC received this prestigious professional award in South Asia.
The award was presented by SAFA President Hesana Kuruppu. The jury board chairperson Anoji de Silva and SAFA leaders were present as guests at the event.
SAFA is the central organization of professional accountants’ institutes in South Asian countries. Every year, the organization reviews and audits the annual reports of the institutions in the countries included in the organization and awards this award to the institutions that achieve the highest marks in all indicators.

National Life Insurance, the only life insurance company in the history of Bangladesh, has won this prestigious award twice in a row. The company won this award for the first time for the annual report published in 2022.
There is joy and celebration among the officers and employees of all levels, including the board of directors, upon winning the award. Through this achievement, National Life Insurance has positioned itself at a higher place in the country’s life insurance industry.
