Soon after 8 pm, the raiding party alerted the businessmen to follow the instructions to close various shops and shops in the city’s Zindabazar.mAt this time, a large number of policemen appeared in various markets and roadside shops including Blue-water shopping center, city center, London mansion, Kankali shopping center, Kaniz Plaza in Zindabazar of the city. On the first day of the campaign, they warned the traders.

It can be seen on the ground that many shops are open even after 8 pm without following the government instructions. Shopkeepers were continuing their business by turning on the AC in the markets and markets and turning on the additional marker lights.

Seeing the presence of the raiding party, many people hurriedly closed the shop. In many markets, traders were standing with collapsible gates in front and lights inside. The raiding team of the district administration immediately ordered the closure of their shops.

At this time Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Md. Mojibor Rahman told that we are working according to the instructions of the government. I’ve been miking all day. Trying to increase public awareness among traders. After 8 pm, 3 teams headed by executive magistrates went on the raid. He himself has started monitoring. He came and saw that the businessmen had closed their shops on their own initiative.

He said, to save electricity, the government has given instructions to close shops, shopping malls, markets and shops after 8 o’clock. Strict action will be taken if government directives are not followed.

At this time, the Deputy Director of Sylhet Local Government Mamunur Rashid, Additional District Commissioner (General) Anwar Sadat,Additional District Magistrate Imrul Hasan, Additional District Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Mobarak Hossain, Executive Magistrate and Senior Assistant Commissioner Joynal Abedin, Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner Ishfakul Kabir, Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner Sadia Binte Solaiman, Ahsanul Alam were present.

Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Anwar Sadat said that in order to save electricity, miking has been done throughout the day to keep shops closed after 8 pm in accordance with government instructions. Similarly, miking has been done in the upazila headquarters.

Everyone’s cooperation is needed to implement the government’s directives. To see if the traders are complying with the government directives, the district administration along with the executive magistrates have gone out to plow 3 monitoring city areas.

Apart from this, executive officers and AC Lands are supervising the matter at the upazila level as well. If anyone disobeys the government’s instructions, strict action will be taken against them.
