Moyeen Khan pays homage to Narsingdi’s student movement martyrs

BNP standing committee member and former minister Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan today paid tributes to two martyrs of anti-discrimination student movement in Narisandi.

He paid tributes to the graves of Tahmid Bhuiyan and Amjad Hossain in Nandipara area of Chinispur union under the sadar upazila and Polash upazila of the district respectively by placing wreaths.

Tahmid was the first victim of the anti-discrimination student movement in Narisandi.

The BNP leader, who was elected Member of Parliament earlier from a constituency of Narsingdi, also handed over cash to the martyr’s family members.

Polash Upazila BNP President Erfan Ali, General Secretary Saiful Haque, Narsingdi District Chhatra Dal General Secretary Hasanuzzaman, Polash Upazila Jubo dal President Nichar Ahmed Khan and former Vice Chairman Alam Mollah were present, among others.
