Science seminar on homeo medicine-‘ Custicum’ was held at Chowkbazar Science Parishad bhaban in city on Friday evening as arranged by Bangaldesh Homeopathic Parishad, Chittagong unit with district unit President Prof.Dr. Devbratha Bhattachariya in the chair.
Divisional representative of Bangladesh Homeopathic Board and Editor of Homeo Chetona Alhaj Dr.Saleh Ahmed Suleman gracedthe occasion as chief guest. President of city unit of BAHOP Dr. Mridul Kanti Dey was the principal speaker in the seminar. Central organizing secretary of BAHOP Dr. Md.Abdur Rahman presented keynote paper on Custicum in the seminar duly conducted by Dr. Ratan Banik. Noted chemist Prof. Dr. ChayanKrishna Das, BAHOP district Secretary Dr. SM Saleh Jahangir, Lecturer Dr. Md. Enamul Hoque Enam,Dr. Sakina Akhter and Dr. Manzoor Chowdhury were present in it as special guests. Dr.Kaberi Das, Dr. Imran Bin Ayub, Dr. Jamaluddin, Dr. Khairunessa Munni, Dr. Abu Sayeed Naser, Dr. Shuraiya Akhter, Dr. Manszushree chowdhury, Dr. Sajedullah, Dr. Towhidul Islam and Dr. Yadul Rifat participated the discussions on keynote paper. The participants in the seminar discussed the importance and effectiveness of Causticum medicine even save a patient from surgerical operation, a BAHOP sources said.
New Indonesian coach in intercity trains from today
Two newly imported passenger coach from Indonesia will be deployed with inter city trains of Mohanagar Pravati and Turna Nishita from today aimed at providing comportable train journey in the country. Bangladesh Railway, Chittagong , East zone traffic department sources said Railway Minister Md. Mujibul Hoque will inaugurate the Red Green coach in Pravati Train at 6 am and Turna Nishita at 10.30 pm at Kamalapur Railway station on same day.
Drug queen held
RAB forces in Chittagong rounded up Minu Begum locally known as Drug Queen from Rahmatpur sonapara area under Sitakunda on Friday night.
Sources said Minu begum is shouldering 8 cases under narcotics act since long and conducting the drug business in bail period. She was rounded up with 100 liters locally made wine and half Kg hem . Law enforcers sources said acting on secret information, RAB forces conducted raid in a house of Sonarpara where she was running drug business .
After searching the house, 100 liters of wine filled in 5 containers and half kg of hem from her possession.Sources said Drug Queen Minu is the mastermind of drug trading in the area.
Youths to impart with digital edn
Secretary of the Cabinet Division Md. Shafiul Alam said youths will be trained with digital education aimed at exporting them to abroad . He said about one crore Bangladeshi are working working abroad but they deprived of higher posts there lack of proper technical education. He said if you able to export the youth after imparting digital education , the flow of remittances from abroad will go to maximum extentsThe secretary of the Cabinet ministry disclosed it while addressing the inaugural ceremony of Innovative Digital Fair inaugurated in the port city on Saturday as chief guest .
Cabinet secretary also said one stop service is being introduced in all govt offices aimed at quick service to the people . Divisional commissioner of Chittagong Md.Ruhul Amin presided over the inaugural session of the fair, sources said
