Death-row convict sacked army sergeant Enamul Kabir, the fugitive accused in sensational Narayanganj-seven murder case, has been arrested in Magura.
Police, acting on a tip off, arrested him from Bhayna intersection bus stand area of the town on Sunday noon.
Magura Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Tariqul Islam confirmed the news.
He said, “Enamul was on run since the incident occurred. On tipped off, he was arrested from Bhayna intersection area on Sunday noon.”
It was under process to send him to Narayanganj Court through the district Court. For this, he was appeared to Magura District Judge Court around 2:00pm on the day, he added.
Eanamul is son of Imarat Hossain Mollah of Katkhali village of the district’s Shalikha upazila.
