Against massacre on the anti-discrimination student mass movement, a human chain of National Teachers’ Forum was held Saturday morning at Rangpur Press Club premises organized by Rangpur district and metropolitan branch to demand the trial of genocide, cancellation of controversial curriculum, nationalization of education system and bringing back a healthy environment for education.

Human bond speakers said that people of Bangladesh were killed indiscriminately during the government of Sheikh Hasina. They killed many students during the fall of the government. It has destroyed the education curriculum of Bangladesh; it is not possible to improve this country with this curriculum. Therefore, we demand that the responsible leaders and high-ranking officials of the administration, including the former head of government, Sheikh Hasina, should be punished on the soil of Bengal. Besides, the distorted curriculum of education should be canceled and a new acceptable curriculum should be created and the education system should be nationalized and the healthy environment of education should be brought back.

Islami Andolan Bangladesh Rangpur District Branch President Hafez Maulan Mohammad Abdur Rahman Kashemi, District General Secretary Maulana Mohammad Saiful Islam, Metropolitan General Secretary Mohammad Amiruzzaman Piyal, National Teacher Forum Alia Madrasa Branch Coordinator Maulana Mohammad Sanwar, Islami Juba Andon District General Secretary Maulana Mohammad Habibur Rahman and others addressed the gathering.
