A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the 44th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteers in Gafargaon, Mymensingh.

Yesterday Tuesday (August 20) at 11 am, a colorful rally was organized by the upazila volunteer group from the front of the upazila BNP office at Patmahal intersection of Gafargaon municipality. The rally ends at the party office after passing through various important roads and roundabouts in the city.

Later, a discussion meeting was held at the party office under the chairmanship of Mir Mozammel Hossain Manan, the convener of the upazila volunteer team and the member secretary of the municipal volunteer team, Azharul Islam Rizvi.

Upazila volunteer group joint convener Ansharul Haque, Md Shawkat, upazila volunteer group member Zahirul Islam Mintu, municipal volunteer group joint convener Abdullah Al Bappi, municipal volunteer group member Monir, Babu and Akram Mridha and others spoke.

It is to be noted that the founder of BNP, martyred President Ziaur Rahman, founded this organization on August 19, 1980 under the name Jatiyatabadi Swachhasebak Dal, thinking of standing by the people during various disasters.
