Abubakar Siddique, Koyra (Khulna)
Khulna District BNP Joint Convener Professor Monirul Haque Babul said that the freedom gained in the bloody struggle of the students will disappear if the taste of democracy cannot be delivered to the doorsteps of the people. No more violence, the perpetrators of violence will not be allowed to organize on the soil of Bangladesh.
BNP as the largest political party should take the responsibility of ensuring the fundamental rights of the people. Fragile Bangladesh burdened with debt of billions and millions of dollars due to looters’ unlimited plunder should be taken forward under the leadership of future statesman Mr. Tariq Rahman. The war is not over yet, the people’s war has just begun. Sheikh Hasina and her henchmen must be prosecuted for all the incidents of mass murder, endless murders, looting and indiscriminate firing on the chests of students.
He said these in his speech as the chief guest at the Koyra Upazila BNP workers conference at Kapotaksh College ground on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
