One person was killed and 4/5 were injured in a clash between two groups based on the spread of dominance due to eastern enmity in Gazipur . Both parties are involved in local BNP politics.

The incident took place on Friday at around 9:30 pm in North Chayabeethi area. A young man named Fasim has died.

According to local residents, there was a chase and a clash between Saurabh group of Sahapara area of ​​Sadar police station of Gazipur city and Himel/Sagar group of Baruda area of ​​the same police station. Meanwhile, 2/3 people of Himel group with native weapons hacked Fahim of Sourav group and severely injured him.

Locals rescued the injured Fahim and took him to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him brought dead.

Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) Sadar Zone Assistant Commissioner Maksudur Rahman said that two groups clashed over the dominance of the area. During the clash, one person was injured in the attack. Locals rescued him and sent him to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital in Gazipur.

Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital emergency department doctor Mostaaq Ahmed said that Fahim was brought to the hospital in an injured state. Fahim died at 10 pm while undergoing treatment in the surgery department.
