An emergency meeting of Bangladesh CNG Filling Station and Conversion Workshop Owners Association Sylhet Division was held at the Departmental office of this organisation on Saturday.

Bangladesh CNG Filling Station and Conversion Workshop Owners Association Sylhet Division President Amiruzzaman Chowdhury presided over the meeting and General Secretary FF Mujibur Rahman conducted the meeting.

Hossain Ahmed, Jihad Ahmed, Srimangal representative. Sher Ali Helal Chowdhury, Moulvibazar representative Syed Saiful Alam, Lokman Ahmad Masum, Moulvibazar representative Farhad Ali Imon, Anhar Uddin, Murad Ali Sumon, Akhtarul Islam etc. At the beginning of the meeting, the organizing secretary of the association Ali Afdar recited from the Holy Quran. The speakers in the meeting said that the country got the inspiration to move forward in the movement of the students. But at present CNG filling stations of Sylhet division are under insecurity due to chaotic situation and some quarters.

Especially some CNG filling stations in Moulvibazar and Srimangal are facing serious threat. Although the local administration and Jalalabad Gas Authority have been informed about the matter, the necessary cooperation is not available. We strongly condemn the threat on CNG filling stations and strongly demand the authorities concerned to take necessary action in this regard.
