Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Dr Shafiqur Rahman said, we have to play the role of mountaineers so that the nation does not fall into any kind of trouble after the departure of autocracy. The country is ours, you will protect Faridpur and Rajbari districts. The political parties will be in the field, as we have all fought against the dictatorial government for 15 and a half years. InshaAllah, our struggle and movement will continue until justice is established.
After the courtesy meeting with the families of the martyrs in the anti-discrimination movement in Kushtia at around 12 pm on Sunday , on his way back to Dhaka, he said this at Daulatdia bus terminal of Goalando Upazila, Rajbari.
He also said that in order to get eternal peace, the path of eternal peace must be found. This is the path of the Qur’an given by Allah. InshaAllah will proceed to Bangladesh along this road. We all have to prepare for them. Peace will be established in Bangladesh the day this road comes. Peace will be given to Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, peace will be given to the masses.
Rajbari District Jamaat Ameer Ed. Md. Nurul Islam said, after a courtesy meeting with the family members of the martyrs in the anti-discrimination movement in Kushtia, on his way back to Dhaka, he addressed a small road meeting at Daulatdia Ghat. On the occasion of his arrival, Rajbari Zilla Jamaat has made all efforts to make this road meeting successful and worthwhile with all levels of man power. Rajbari district residents are proud.
Meanwhile, Faridpur District Jamaat Ameer Md. Badr Uddin along with hundreds of other Jamaat leaders of district and Goalando upazila were present.
