Jamaat provides financial assistance to families of those who killed in Gafargaon students’ movement

Jamaat-e-Islami provided financial assistance to a family killed in the anti-discrimination student movement on Monday night.

Mymensingh District Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Md. Abdul Karim came to assist the family members of Kamruzzaman, who was killed in the anti -discrimination student movement.

Financial assistance of TK- 2 lakh was given. Later visited Kamruzzaman’s grave.
At this time, Assistant Secretary of Mymensingh District Jamaat Mahbub Faraji, Ameer of Gafargaon Upazila Jamaat Maulana Ismail Hossain Sohel and Upazila Working Council members were present.

It should be noted that Kamruzzaman, son of Abdur Razzak, a resident of Char Kamaria village of Charalgi Union of Gafargaon Upazila, was shot in Uttara during a round of agitation in Dhaka on August 4. Kamruzzaman died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.
