On the theme ‘Every Child’s Rights, Protect Our Commitment’, a week-long program was inaugurated, discussions and cultural programs were held in Kishoreganj to celebrate the World Children’s Day and Children’s Rights Week 2024.

Bangladesh Shishu Academy including District Administration in Kishoreganj arranged this event on Sunday afternoon at District Shilpakala Academy auditorium with lively participation of about 500 childrens.

ADC (Education and ICT) Kazi Mohua Mamtaj presided over function.

Promoted SP Mustaque Sarkar and Civil Surgeon (CS) dr.Saiful Islam as special guests.

District Child Officer Taifa Hasina, District Education Officer, District Cultural Affairs Officer and Senior Journalist Alam Sarowar Tito were also present.

ADC (Education & ICT) Kazi Mohua said that every year the World Children’s Day and Children’s Rights Week are celebrated through various programs organized by the government.

Because today’s children will lead tomorrow. It is our responsibility to build them properly from now on.

SP Mustaque Sarkar said, every child is talented and each of them has hidden talents which only we have to bring out. They should be given opportunities in new fields so that they can develop themselves.

Later, After the discussion , the opening ceremony was announced with a delightful cultural programme.
