Convening committee of Rajshahi Press Club formed

NTV Rajshahi Staff Reporter S.M. Shaju convener and Daily Kalbela’s Rajshahi Bureau Chief Amjad Hossain Shimul have been elected Member Secretary of 7 (seven) members convening committee.
This committee was formed in a convened meeting of the executive committee at the Rajshahi Press Club auditorium on Monday (August 26) at noon. Prior to this, the previous committee was dissolved unanimously.
Afzal Hossain, Senior Vice President of Rajshahi Press Club presided over the convocation meeting. Executive committee members including S.M. Shaju, Ahsan Habib Apu, vice president of the committee were present in the meeting.
The other members of the newly formed convening committee are Afzal Hossain, editor of Dainik Amader Rajshahi, Ahsan Habib Apu, editor of Dainik Rajshahi Sangbad, staff reporter of Dainik Ittefak. Anisuzzaman, SA TV Rajshahi Bureau Chief Ziaul Gani Salim and Ittefaq photojournalist Azahar Uddin.
It was decided in the meeting that this convening committee will complete the election within the next 3 (three) months and take the initiative to provide new membership following the proper rules.
After the summoning meeting, an exchange meeting was held with the media workers working in Rajshahi in the press club auditorium. Sonali Sanbad Editor Liaquat Ali, Sonar Desh Editor Akbarul Hasan Millat, Rajshahi Press Club Member Sarkar Shariful Islam, Manju Ara Khatun, Waliur Rahman Babu, Jamal Uddin, Mustafizur Rahman Mishu, BFUJ Joint Secretary General Rashed Ripon, Rajshahi Television Journalists Association President Mehedi Hasan Shymamol, were present. Rajshahi Journalist Welfare Association Secretary General Kazi Shahed, Senior Journalist Nazrul Islam Zulu, Abdus Sattar Dollar, Shamsul Islam, Rezaul Karim, Shahinur Rahman Sona, President of Rajshahi College Reporters Unity Abdul Hakim, General Secretary S Ali Durjoy, Vice President Abu Sayed Roni and more than hundred journalists were present.
