Kazi Moniruzzaman Monir, Member of the Central Executive Committee, said, I fought the Liberation War, I did not think that I would come back alive and that dictatorship Sheikh Hasina’s government has tarnished the Liberation War by creating numerous fake freedom fighters.

He made these comments in his speech as the chief guest at the peace rally organized by Golakandail Union BNP of the upazila and allied organizations to prevent extortion, terrorism and anarchy by the agents of the Awami League government across the country including Rupganj on Friday afternoon at the Dohargaon government primary school ground.

At this time, Kazi Moniruzzaman Monir also said, I do not want nomination or MP-minister. I want to be loved by people from all walks of life in Rupganj. I can’t break love.

The previous Awami dictatorial government, including me, has suffered a lot of torture by attacking our BNP leaders and workers with false cases. He had to run to the court every day to understand the false case. Never went away from party workers.

The speakers also warned that those who will commit terrorism and anarchy will be resisted with a strong hand.
